Bio

My journey into yoga evolved about 7 years ago. Looking for a way to bring more harmony, balance and energy into my life, I began exploring classes at local studios. Yoga quickly became a passion and has become a daily part of my life. I am also an avid runner and have completed several marathons and other races on the East Coast. I am grateful for being blessed with a fulfilling life with a wonderful husband, 4 children, 5 grandchildren and 2 dogs.

Having completed my 200 hr. Hatha Yoga Teacher Certification with Laurie Greene at Yoga Nine in Smithville, NJ, I attribute much of my inspiration and desire to teach and deepen my practice to Laurie. Continuing my training, I became certified to teach Yin Yoga in 2011, studying with Corina Benner of Wake Up Yoga in Philadelphia. Additionally, I had the opportunity to experience classes/workshops with Edward Clark, Liz Connelly, Doug Swenson, Sean Corn, John Friend, Peter Rizzo, Sue Elkind and David Sirgany. My path is one that leads me to continual mutual growth with my students, sharing energy, spirit and love of yoga. My classes will invite you to open your heart, to stay focused and flow with your breath leading you into the spirit of yoga.
